How Do I Submit My International Transcripts?

International students must upload transcripts to Scholaro for a course-by-course evaluation. This assessment converts your records to U.S. credits and is required before beginning your program.

Step-by-Step Guide for International Students

To earn an American high school diploma from Excel High School or Northgate Academy, international students must have their academic records evaluated and converted to U.S. standards. Here’s how to complete the process:

Step 1: Collect Your Records

Gather official transcripts from all the schools you attended for grades 9–12 (or the equivalent in your country). Make sure the documents are:

  • Clear and legible

  • Preferably in PDF format

  • Translated into English (if not originally in English)

Step 2: Submit to an Evaluation Service

Upload your transcripts to Scholaro or another approved credential evaluation service for a course-by-course assessment. This type of evaluation ensures your credits are converted to align with U.S. high school requirements.

Submit directly to Scholaro here:

Step 3: Wait for the Evaluation

If you select the standard “No Rush” option, Scholaro typically completes the evaluation in 10 business days. Once finished, Scholaro will send the official results directly to Excel High School’s registrar on your behalf.

Step 4: Allow Time for Credit Processing

Once your evaluation is received, the Excel High School registrar will review your report and transfer eligible credits into your student file. Please allow 5–7 business days for this internal processing.

⚠️ Note: The total number of credits transferred may differ from your original records due to conversion into U.S. credit standards.
