How Do I Access My Courses?

Learn Stage has two parts—your account info and your courses. You can reach your courses by scrolling down on your dashboard or by clicking “My Account” and switching to the LMS view.

Getting Started with Learn Stage 

To access your courses at Excel High School or Northgate Academy, you'll use our student platform: Learn Stage Follow the steps below to log in and begin your coursework.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Go to the Correct Login Page

Choose the link for your school:

Click the “Student Login” option. Accessing your account through any other login (like Admin or Instructor) may result in complications.

Learn Stage Has Two Parts

When you log in to Learn Stage, you’ll see two main areas:

  1. Student Info (SIS) – This shows your school and program details.

  2. Classroom (LMS) – This is where you go to work on your courses.

Learn Stage is both your Student Information System (SIS) and your Learning Management System (LMS)—kind of like a mix of Infinite Campus and Canvas or Moodle, if you’ve used those before.

What You See When You Log In

When you first log in, you’ll land in your Student Info area. This is where you’ll see:

  • Your current program

  • Past programs (if you’ve taken any)

  • Future programs you can enroll in

But this isn’t where your actual courses live...

Two Ways to Get to Your Courses

You can get to your courses in two different ways:

Option 1: From the Dashboard

  1. Stay on your dashboard (where you land after logging in).

  2. Scroll down to a section called “Programs You’re Taking.”

  3. Click on your program name.

  4. This will open a list of all the courses in your program.

    • Some courses may be available for later.

    • Courses you’re already working on will say “In Progress.”

  5. Find the course you want and click the “Go to Course” button.

  6. This opens your course in the online classroom.

 

Option 2: Use the “My Account” Button

  1. At the top of the screen, find the “My Account” button.

  2. Hover over it (or tap on a phone/tablet).

  3. You’ll see two choices:

    • Account Info (SIS)

    • Courses (LMS)

  4. Click “Courses” to go straight to your classroom.

You can switch back and forth anytime!

❗ Tip: Don’t See Your Progress?

If you don’t see your course progress or status, click the “Sync Progress” button on the upper right of the course list.
